The firm’s IP practice is renowned for quick turnaround times and for

trademarks, patents, Utility models, Industrial Designs, copyrights,
domain names, Plant breeder’s rights, Anti-counterfeit services, and
IP management services, both in Kenya and across Africa.
Over the past years MMC has established working relationships and
associated links with several law firms across all continents. These
links have proved to be useful because they enabled us to assist
multinational companies in accessing IP related services, particularly
in Kenya and across Africa.
Our Firm is recognized by the Kenya Industrial Property Institute
(KIPI) as an invaluable stakeholder and it's often invited to make
contributions to the development of Intellectual Property law in
Kenya. Consequently, the firm has had an active participation in
the drafting of the Anti-counterfeit’s Act, the Geographical
Indications bill and most recently has participated in making
proposed amendments to the Industrial Property Act.
MMC is an active member of the New York based International
Trademark Association (INTA), and locally - a member of the Kenya
Association of Manufacturers Anti-counterfeits committee.

Limited which is a leading international Domain Management
company with head quarters in London and offices in Vienna,
Johannesburg and Nairobi.

agreements, assignments, registered user and franchise agreements,
